Fridgea fridge inventory: items sorted by expiry date, each with days left

How it works

  1. Add what you bought

Type it, say it, scan the barcode or snap the receipt. Fridgea suggests where it goes and how long it usually keeps.

  2. See it at a glance

Fridge, freezer and shelf, each item with its days left in colour: red for today, amber for soon.

  3. Update in a swipe

Used some? Swipe the item and log what you used — one pack or a few grams. Finished it? Swipe it away.

Why it helps

  • No more duplicate buys — check the app in the store before you grab another jar.
  • Nothing forgotten at the back — the food that expires first is always at the top.
  • Track partial packs in grams, millilitres or pieces, not just whole items.
  • Each pack keeps its own date — two cartons of milk bought a week apart stay separate.

Smart defaults for 200+ everyday foods

Fridgea knows where common foods belong and how long they usually keep. Type "yogurt" and it suggests the fridge and a typical shelf life; you can always change the date to match the package. Add a photo when you want to remember exactly which one you bought.

Four quick ways to add food

Snap your receipt to add a whole shop at once, scan a barcode to fill in name and photo, just say it — "two liters of milk in the fridge and chicken for the freezer" — or share a list from Apple Notes. Pick whatever is fastest at that moment.

Questions, answered

Can I track my freezer and pantry too?

Yes. Every item lives in the fridge, the freezer or on the shelf, and you can filter by each.

What if I only used part of a package?

Swipe the item and log how much you used — one pack, or grams and millilitres for things like cheese or milk.

Does Fridgea know expiry dates automatically?

It suggests a typical shelf life for more than 200 common foods, so you rarely type a date. For packaged food, check the label and adjust the date in a tap.

Do I need an account?

No. Your inventory lives in your iCloud and syncs between your iPhone and iPad. You can export it as a file or delete it from Settings at any time.
