Widgets and a Live Activity
Fridgea's Expiring Soon and Shopping List widgets work right from your Home Screen, and cooking timers run as a Live Activity. KitchenPal's listing and FAQs don't mention widgets.
KitchenPal combines a pantry, fridge and freezer inventory with expiry alerts, barcode and voice entry, shared grocery lists, recipe search and a meal planner. If you're on iPhone and want widgets, AI recipe ideas or a cooking mode, here's how Fridgea compares.
Fridgea is our app. We've tried to keep this fair: every claim about other apps links to their App Store listing or website as checked on October 1, 2026. Spotted something out of date? Email support@fridgea.online.
